Experiment #12: Elevator Pitch

I have a great idea for your next best seller.  A girl has made a new life for herself in Seattle because she had to escape her emotionally and physically abusive father.  She has been working in the same coffee shop and going to the same high school for a year, but everything changes when her father arrives.  She tries to make an escape but he captures her in a back alley.  The story then changes perspective to her best friend, who spends the entirety of the novel trying to find out where her father has taken her.  The novel will go back and forth between her perspective of hers while she tries to escape and her friend’s while he tries to find her.  I named the book after the new name my character gives herself when trying to escape her father.  It is called Charlie.
